Description: A card for any occasion! Purple is the color representing the Alzheimer's Association. Nearly 7 million people in the USA are impacted by Alzheimer's, and 2/3 are women! Within Hawaiʻi alone in the year 2020, 29,000 adults over 65 were living with Alzheimer's, and 60,000 family caregivers cared for them. In addition, by 2025 (next year!) this number is anticipated to rise to 35,000. There are lots of factors and things that can be done to prevent progression of this disease, but there is no cure. The Alzheimer's Association is actively funding research towards a cure, providing awareness and education, and supporting families impacted by Alzheimer's nationwide. Proceeds from this card sale will be donated to the cause!
